Statement of Source:

The Basica is a contribution made by an ordinary person, born of what I thought was basic to the greatest spiritual teachings already available to us, as well as the basics of my own personal beliefs. My writing of the Basica, designing of its accompanying drawings and the Basican Compass, and practice of Basicanism are the result of prayer, learning, contemplation, and inspiration.
