Website Designs Courtesy of
A List of Other Sites I've Designed
I'm only responsible for the later content of some of these sites; others are managed by other people. But the colors, graphics (except for preexisting logos), layouts, etc. were done by me. When I design a Webpage, I type in the HTML code myself instead of using an editing program with a menu. I prefer the control it gives me, and it makes it easier to alter things without having to wend my way through an unfamiliar organizational style if I want to add something newly discovered or ending up with messy sourcecode after changing my mind about how I want to do things. Besides, I like knowing how things work and being able to say I tinkered with them myself.
All of these sites were done on a volunteer basis with whatever my skill level, schedule, and health would allow me to devote to them. They were made for friends or for the historical reenactment group I belong to (which means a certain amount of overlap, it seems). My skills are self-taught, but I enjoy being able to use them to help contribute something to those who might not be able to have it if they had to turn to a paid proffessional.
