All photo subjects identified by name or whose faces can be clearly made out and identified appear by permission. (To me this means a stranger could see the photo and then recognize your face in a crowd.) Regardless of permission, I make a sincere effort to avoid posting pictures of easily identifiable faces of children or posting the names of children in association with any pictures (except where I am the subject). All pictures taken by anyone other than me also appear by permission. If I've posted a picture of or taken by you and you would like it removed, please let me know. I'll try to take care of it as soon as I can.
Juliana and I both competed in archery at Baronial Champs in 2006, as we like to do each year.

In the SCA, we like to eat well. Dessert is no exception, of course. But we don't just eat - we do it in style! Here's a subtlety served at 12th Night in 2007. I believe the children had something to do with this... hence the cereal and marshmallow decorations surrounding the buildings. Yes, we start teaching them young to appreciate such arts.

At the Feast of the 7 Deadly Sins, held in Delftwood, it seems I met my match! Here I am, representing Wrath (because I felt it might be underrepresented in favor of Lust) with Lady Justine, representing Pride. This is also the outfit I wore for a luau birthday party a couple of Pennsics back. Hmmm. Do you think it clashes with the hat? Oh, well. Clashing outfits were not uncommon in our period of study. (See how we get away with things?)

Lord Carlo - The Moustache Returns! I gave up on the mascara bit one Pennsic, because it was too much hassel in the heat and in a camping environment for a week. Then I just fell out of the habit after that. But once I knew of Lady Justine, and especially when I knew she'd be making an appearance at the 2007 College of Three Ravens a week later, I just had to start doing it again!

And here I am showing it off with Lady Justine at C3R. The two of us have something special in common. Our personas are sort of magical kinds of people. They appear out of a tube or a bottle with a brush in the morning, and in the evening they disappear into a tissue in a swirl of cream... Or to put it another way, how many people have to wait around while their guy fusses with his makeup? Our partners both do.

Maria is among my favorite people to drum with. She's lots of fun, and her djembe just has a beautiful sound. It's too bad we don't get to play together more often. This was at Pax in 2007.

Later on that day, I got to play my drum with three recorder players. What a blast it always is to play with other kinds of musicians!

Thescorre is very proud not only to have hosted Fall Crown Tournament in 2007 but to be the home of the winners! Here we see Their Hignesses Khalek and Branwyn as they become the official Heirs.
