Treatment of Basican Sacred Objects and Symbols:

Whether consecrated or not, all those who truly believe the Basica and wish to understand and live by the Basican Guide are welcome to consider themselves Basicans and are then invited to wear or otherwise display the Basican compass as a way of signifying this. Such display, however, is not required.

Loss or damage to any item associated with Basicanism should never be regarded as loss of its power within us or of what it represents to us. Though we value these things and treat them with care, one who would desecrate them takes nothing spiritual out of us. Part of their power (and ours) is in our knowing this.
